Karl G. Wilcox (M.Phil., Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor of English Literature at Southwestern Adventist University. He has published in the field of Old Testament narrative. For a number of years Karl worked as a professional Mountain Guide, and he continues to live ‘on the edge’ as a Christian scholar in a secular age.
